Regular analysis of financial statements can be invaluable to your business not only surviving, but thriving. We prepare monthly or quarterly statements for our clients to use in managing their businesses. Having a handle on profits (or losses!) before the year actually ends is also very important in planning for your tax bill. Knowing how things are really going each month allows our clients to make necessary adjustments or plan for expansion on a more realistic footing than just whether or not there is money in the bank. We encourage this regular maintenance of books and financial statements to all our clients. Some, however, do prefer to prepare their books annually which we certainly do, usually in conjunction with the preparation of the annual tax returns.
